Focus On Alfie’s
The Bermondsey Square Hotel’s  in-house restaurant and bar. Alfie’s is great for a meal or a drink.  Unusually Alfie’s has its own in-house fish & chip shop. The chef Andy Nolan has a wide selection of English classic dishes with ingredients sourced from the nearby Borough market.

Focus On Shortwave
52 (yes 52!) seater cinema plus bar overlooking Bermondsey Square run by Rob Wray. He aims to screen the best in arthouse, classic and independent cinema alongside promoting emerging film talent. The cinema has surround sound and HD projection facilties. The cafe bar is open every day except Monday's serving alcohol, soft drinks, coffee and snacks.. Rob also directs Elefest, established in 2002. It aims to celebrate the cultural and creative diversity of the Elephant and Castle, mixing classic cinema with the new and the international. The festival has now expanded and includes live music, dance, photography and literature. www.shortwavefilms.co.uk
