The Tiger is 200 Years old this year
The Tiger is located opposite Camberwell Green. The nearest station is Denmark Hill on the Windrush Line. Originally called The Tiger’s Head it was built in 1826. Pre-2009, it was known as The Silver Buckle (which wasa very rough pub), but reverted to The Tiger after the original name was uncovered during renovations in 2009 by Anthony Thomas of Antic Ltd.
