Focus On Railton Road
Railton Road is a popular shopping street with many shops dating back to Victorian times when the Herne Hill Station opened in 1862.

It has many independent shops, pubs and bars, a gallery and a restaurant.
In 2010 it is planned that the southern end Railton Road will be closed to through traffic and partly pedestrianised. The full plans are awaited with interest by the local community. Will it look like this photo again? More info
