The  Telegraph offers honest food and drink and friendly surroundings. So more a classic pub than  a gastropub. The pub was refurbished in 2009 and has been run by John & Leila since 2010. Patio. Real ales: four on tap, lagers and draught cider. Food: Burgers etc vegetarian options plus Sunday roasts The Telegraph is on  the New Cross/Nunhead border.
